CFL week two

Nice first weekend in the CFL as most games went true to form had one bad beat with Cgy get a late cover off a fumble return.

YTD 4-2 +5.3*

As most of you know I like to subscribe to line reads, and fading public % as well as TSN analyst Chris Schultz. Not out of disrespect but just because his CFL picks are so public oriented and based on what he saw the previous week.

Last week I was reviewing some of my notes and I noticed a trend that developed between Schultzies picks, line movement and the public % - I will call them S.L.A.P plays from now on, last week they went 2-0 and this week there are three of them. So lets see how they do this week as I like all the SLAP plays personally.

On a side note going to be away from the computer most of the weekend will update the thread Sat. Am but will then be gone for a week of win drinking in the okanagan.

Winn -11 1.5* - this is a slap play - Schultz, line move & public - all favour the Argos.....why?

Forgot to mention.... last week the home teams went 3-1 ATS and 3-1 SU, the only loser was the eskies. So here's the issue - the points mattered in zero games lets keep track of that and see how well the oddsmaker does.

Stinker last night as all three theories go up in flames.

Home Teams SU 4-1 ATS 3-2

Today I like:

3* BB Hamilton ML -125 got it at SI last night but ML is still cheap if you don't want the -2.5. Keep in mind -2 is a key number in CFL. Too many new components in CGY on offense - Hamilton got a walk up call last week should be better this week
&
1.5 * Sask +3 - BC won the game last week but there was issues if not for a huge hit on rickey ray on the eskies first drive of the game the eskimos might have stomped the lions. The hit changed ray for that game and his timing was off the rest of the way. BC's offense did not look good & to a man the young oline admitted to making lots of mistakes. Too many times BC was kicking feild goals in the red zone, you cant trade FG's for TDs with sask.
